Overview

Braeside Lavington values and celebrates diversity, welcoming all children from age 2 years to 18 years, without regard for gender, race, religion, or culture.  Applications are accepted at any time of the academic year, with the exception of Years 11 and 13, where special consideration may be given.

The criterion of entry is based on the age of the child, assessment outcomes, and availability of space.

Details of our admissions policyterm dates, and fee structure can be found by following the links on this page.

Entrance Assessment

Students seeking admission will be assessed using age-appropriate assessment tools.  This is to ensure that they can access the curriculum, provide teachers with an idea of the child’s needs and strengths, and help with target setting for academic performance.

Before starting the admissions process we recommend you visit the school for a tour, or have an informal chat with the headteacher if you are out of the country. Final admission is subject to an interview with the headteacher.

Upon successful completion of the admissions process, you will receive a letter from the headteacher confirming the placement and the start date.
