Mathematics, English Language, English Literature, and at least one Science are compulsory, with learners able to elect their other courses.

In Key Stage 4, students work towards the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) examinations set by the Cambridge International Examinations Board (CIE), which they write in Year 11.

Learners Enjoying Success

At Braeside Lavington, academic excellence is not an event – it is a culture. Our students have consistently delivered impressive outcomes at the IGCSE level, demonstrating both breadth and depth across subjects. Braeside Lavington learners continue to exceed global averages in many subject areas. Beyond grades, our IGCSE students develop critical thinking skills, resilience, and independence – strong foundations for success at the next level of education.

Congratulations to our Class of 2025 for their outstanding IGCSE results.
