At Braeside Lavington, we maximise and extend students’ talents beyond the classroom. We believe in moulding a whole rounded child with a wide range of skills that can help them in their future.
Through our Creative, Technical, and Vocational (CTV) Department, all our children are encouraged to participate in a wide range of activities ranging from school productions, music concerts, talent shows, and art competitions.
We have a dedicated team of peripatetic Music teachers who instruct students on different musical instruments. The instruments include but not limited to, drums, brass, string and voice. The students are later examined by ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music).
Sport is a very important aspect of the school. It is an integral part of the life of the Braeside child.
The school is fortunate to be part of the KAIIS (Kenya Association for Independent International Schools) which offers opportunities for students to play sport in both friendly and competitive fixtures. This involves over 20 International Schools within and outside Nairobi.
Children of all abilities are given a chance to take part in sport through normal game lessons, inter-house competitions, and inter-school fixtures.
We offer a wide range of sports including athletics, football, rugby, hockey, swimming, cross country, netball, and rounders for all age groups.
