1Million Teachers Programme

Several teachers signed up for international courses offered by 1Million Teachers.
As a team, we signed up in August 2022 and navigated the self-paced units throughout the academic year. Since the programme targets educators across curricula and nationalities, we partnered with 1Million teachers led by the Kenya Coordinator, Harriet Sajeroh to host the graduation ceremony on 26th August 2023.
The colourful graduation ceremony attracted 143 teachers from 30 Kenyan counties, Rwanda, Ethiopia and Tanzania. Braeside had the largest number of teachers on the list which led to us earning an Anchor School status. Special congratulations to the 36 Braeside Teachers who made it to the final roll!
