Creche Educational Trip to Sensory Farm

24th May 2024

The above visit left the little ones with hearts full of gratitude and memories to last a lifetime. The journey began with a leisurely stroll through the sprawling fields and pastures of the farm. From the vibrant hues of the vegetable patch to the sweet smelling herb garden, every corner of the farm was teeming with life and beauty.

The children were delighted to meet the resident animals, from the baaiing! sheep, grazing in the meadow, to the mischievous goats frolicking in the barnyard and the feisty bunnies running around the farm. Thereafter, the farmer shared his knowledge on animal care, discussing the importance of balanced diets, clean habitats and regular health check-ups for the animals.

The farmer also guided our team through their innovative composting process, which turns organic waste into nutrient-rich fertilizer for the crops. After that, the children combined the soil and compost to enhance its richness, and then each planted various seedlings. Our visit culminated in a delightful picnic lunch and play in the lavish green gardens and a donkey Ride.
