Creche Trip to Mlango Farm

24th February 2024

Just before the half-term break, our youngest Braestars went on a wonderful visit to Mlango Farm. They chattered and laughed all the way to the destination. Upon arrival at the farm, staff greeted them warmly and they immediately felt rejuvenated by the fresh country air. The hosts led them through the day's activities, which included a farm-to-table experience designed to strengthen their connection with the food they eat.

During their visit, the Braestars participated in the process of harvesting fresh produce, with some of the produce tasted, replanted and the rest fed to the animals on the farm. The most exciting part of their day was the ‘Animal Safari.’ The children had the opportunity to observe and interact with various farm animals, from fluffy bunnies, mooing cows, neighing horses to gentle lambs. They were so happy as they fed and petted the animals, and it was a sight to behold. This experience instilled a love for animals in them.

After the long adventure, they had a picnic before setting out on a return to school journey, with their hearts full of happy memories.

What an adventure!
