Creche Week 10 Newsletter

14th November 2020

Dear Parent/Guardian,

Boom! Boom! Zing, Zing! Clang, Clang! Ting,Ting! Different musical instruments making different sounds. Which one is your favourite? Is it the drum, guitar, shaker, tambourine, piano or flute?

Week 10 was packed with fun filled activities for the Creche children. We began the week by listening to the rhyme, ‘Humpty Dumpty’ then constructed a wall for him using open ended resources. We also got to create different musical instruments using recyclable materials from home. The children made their instruments from straws, margarine tins, tissue paper rolls, paper plates, shoe boxes and rubber bands.

The highlight of the week was cooking our very own breakfast. What fun it was to see the children cook pancakes, bake cookies and prepare some hot chocolate independently. Mixing primary colour paints and colour scavenging activities concluded the week.
