Foundation Stage 1 Educational Trip to Gathoni Park Farm

16th October 2024

The Foundation Stage 1 Braestars had an exciting adventure at Gathoni Park Farm in Tigoni. It was a day filled with discovery and learning as the children explored the farm, learnt the names of various farm animals and saw their young ones. The children were thrilled to hold baby rabbits and stroke baby lambs while learning interesting facts about them.

The highlight of the trip was the bumpy donkey cart ride through the fields, allowing the children to meet the larger animals up close. They also had a chance to visit the tea farm and the sensory garden where different herbs are grown. They picked some tea leaves and also smelled some herbs like rosemary. This hands-on experience helped our young Braestars understand the role of a farm and where food comes from, providing them with a new life experience.
