Riding a bicycle is a passport to worlds beyond the front lawn. Bicycles represent fun, freedom, risk taking, testing ideas, independence, confidence and responsibility. Moreover, biking is a healthy pastime that kids will never outgrow. There is a special bond between children and bikes that can never be broken.
Last week, the FS1 children were thrilled to bring in their three-wheelers, striders, bicycles and scooters that were perfect for them as they continued testing their new found motor skills. The week enabled the children to enhance their cycling skills, balancing, maintain control skills, propelling, using the brakes and fine/gross motor skills.
