Foundation Stage 1 Newsletter - Week 4 Term 3

15th May 2021

Dear Parent/Guardian,

'I am Little Red Riding Hood and I am in the dark forest. I'm going to see my Granny and give her some flowers but when I went there, there was no one. There was only a wolf and I was terrified. I ran away. I am terrified but suddenly a woodcutter came and the woodcutter killed the wolf. My Granny came out and we lived happily ever after.'

This week in Foundation Stage 1, we explored ‘The Little Red Riding Hood’ story. It taught us to avoid traits of selfishness and cruelty. We talked about what is real and what is pretence.

Our highlight of the week was when we visited the library and had a chance to interact with the librarian. Later we read ‘The Library’ book and found out what kipper did at the library.

Have a great weekend,

FS1 Team
