Foundation Stage 1 Newsletter week 5

2nd October 2021

I look into my lunchbox to see sandwiches there, an apple, an orange, or maybe a pear. Sometimes it's pasta, a wrap or a roll. I love healthy lunches because they make me grow.

This week, the FS1 children were happy to participate in the nutrition themed week, as they explored various foods. Planting and dressing up like a farmer was the highlight of the week preparing us for our class trip to an ‘Adventure farm.’

During our mathematics session, we made a garden in the sand pit. We placed the number cards 1-10 on the sand, and planted potatoes to match the number.

WHAT'S COMING UP NEXT WEEK:

  • Dress your child in their games kit for our Zumba fun and fitness monthly session on Monday, 4th October.
  • We shall be talking about dental hygiene. Kindly support us by sending your child’s toothbrush and toothpaste on Monday for the week.
