Dear Parent/Guardian,

This old Earth,

Needs our help,

To stay fresh,

Clean and green.

With a pick it up,

Pitch it in, and throw it in the can.

This old earth needs a helping hand.

Let us make the earth smile!

This week was our annual Humanities Week and the theme was 'Make the Earth Smile'. We got to discuss various ways on how to continue making the earth smile through recycling. This led us into making musical instruments from various junk materials we had at home.

In letters and sounds, we played various listening games, which helped us to continue identifying the initial sound of various instruments in our environment. Our favourite game was musical corners. During mathematics, we explored the long and short concept using various natural materials from our garden.
