Dear Parent/Guardian,
This week in Foundation Stage 1, children have been exploring ‘The Little Red Hen’ story. Through this story, we reminded ourselves of the act of kindness, sharing and also the value of helping each other, as the Little Red Hen did not help in anything.
The children’s creativity once again emerged as they made some ‘little red hens’ of their own using a range of media and material.
The highlight of the week was our Kiswahili day, when we dressed up in our Swahili attire and had a Swahili themed breakfast together during our registration session. We crowned the Swahili theme by making ‘Mkate Mayai’.
