Foundation Stage 1 Week 5 Newsletter

9th October 2020

The zip on my trouser goes up and down, buttons on my shirt go through the holes, Velcro on my shoes goes press and rip, poppers on my coat go press and pop!

This week in Foundation Stage 1, we explored the theme ‘Clothes’. We made paper clothes for our dolls and teddy bears. We explored the circle shape as we decorated our t-shirts and did a matching activity by matching our socks with the right pair.

Our little hands also got active during our wash day whereby we scrubbed, rubbed and scrubbed some more... Soap suds flew away.  Back and forth, up and down. Our clothes became sparkling clean.

Our highlight of the week was when we explored the story, ‘Goldilocks and The Three Bears’ . Through this story, we made some bear bread and porridge for the bears as we roleplayed the story.

Wishing you a restful weekend,

Foundation Stage 1 Team
