Foundation Stage 2 Newsletter

11th September 2021

This week in FS2, children learnt about rice and how it gets to our plates. Rice is a seed that takes up to 6 months to grow and then the farmers harvest and drive it to the factory where it is cleaned and packed.

The children also discussed ways to stop wasting food and this is what they came up with;

  • Only eat what you like.
  • Only put enough food on your plate.
  • Save food to eat later on when you are hungry.

In Literacy this week, we introduced sounds s/a/t and tricky words I and the. Kindly help your child with the weekend reading activity.
