Dear Parent/Guardian,
The Earth is our home, so blue and green. Let us do our part to keep the Earth safe and away from aliens.
To celebrate our Annual Humanities week whose theme this year was 'Make the Earth Smile', the FS2 children talked about recycling and reusing instead of littering.
They made towers and castles using yogurt cups and empty juice boxes. They planted seeds in the garden box...Walked around the school to count how many dustbins they could spot.
Most importantly, they can now look out for the recycle sign and reuse various items.
In Phonics, they learnt /oa/ and /ar/ graphemes while in Maths, they looked out for patterns and made some of their own using materials around the school.
