Dear Parent/Guardian,
Did you know that a person who makes shoes is called a shoemaker?
The children listened to the story of ‘The Elves and the Shoemaker’ and this sparked conversations and questions on;
- Where shoes come from?
- How are shoes made?
- Why is it important to wear shoes?
The children compared shoe sizes and noticed that some shoes have laces, velcro and buckles.
This week we also looked at;
- Sounds zz/sh/qu
- Reviewed Tricky words
- Wrote numbers 1 to 20
