Foundation Stage 2 Week 8 Newsletter:Term 2

Dear Parent/Guardian,

When the sun sets, the sky grows dark. You will start to see twinkling stars. What you are looking at is just a tiny part of SPACE.

This week, Foundation Stage 2 children delved into space and learnt that people who study space are called astronomers. The moon is the brightest thing in the night sky. People who fly into space are astronauts. There is an American flag on the moon. On the space station, everything floats.

In phonics, we looked at the following sounds /ng/, /th/ and /oo/
