FS1 & FS2 Water Fun Day

14th February 2026

What an unforgettable day of splashes, smiles and spectacular achievements! On Friday, 13th February, our Foundation Stage 1 and 2 Braestars enjoyed a truly exciting Water Fun Day filled with confidence-building challenges and joyful moments.

The poolside was buzzing with excitement as activities took place in both the big and small pools, where children participated in balancing races in the baby pool, floating object collections, and thrilling treasure hunts. In the big pool, learners swam through hoola hoops, took part in energetic kicking races, and some even challenged themselves to swim without floaters, showing impressive independence and progress.

The giant water slide was a highlight, bringing waves of laughter, while the day ended beautifully with lively water dances performed by the children. Each child received a small gift, adding an extra touch of celebration. Our mums and dads joined in the fun with an exciting parents’-teacher race, bringing wonderful community spirit to the day. It was a joy to see our staff and families dive into the spirit of the day, modeling healthy competition and enthusiasm. The cheers from the sidelines truly showcased our wonderful school community.

Highlights of the Day:

  • Skill Building: Practicing turn-taking and building resilience through new challenges.
  • Active Learning: Strengthening motor skills and sparking curiosity through water exploration.
  • Community Spirit: A joyful display of kindness and cooperation among our youngest learners.

It was a celebration of courage, teamwork and achievement. We are incredibly proud of our Foundation Stage children and grateful to our dedicated staff and supportive parents for making the day so special.

A huge thank you to our families for their support as this made the day truly special.
