Fun with Maths in FS2

Maths in the Early Years is all about providing children with opportunities to develop and improve their skills in counting, understanding and describing shapes, space and measure. A good way to introduce maths into children's life is by using everyday objects around their environment.
FS2 Braestars have been engaging in different fun activities which have brought about math talk or mathematical vocabulary through counting, number recognition, comparing amounts, linking numerals to amounts, pattern recognition and pattern creation.
