Inter-Braeburn Swimming Gala

BLV hosted the 12 Years and Under Inter-Braeburn Swimming Gala on 16th February. The swimmers from Braeburn School Gitanga, Braeburn Garden Estate, Braeside Thika, Braeburn Nanyuki, Braeburn Mombasa, Braeburn Kisumu, Braeburn Arusha, Hillcrest and the host, Braeside Lavington schools gathered at pool for a competitive and spirited event. The event showcased excellent technique, determination and sportsmanship across all age groups and strokes.

The showstopper was the relay event, which drew the attention of the crowd and produced fast, competitive times.

Overall Outcomes

• Entire Swimming team: Second Place
• The 12 and Under girls: First place
• The 12 and Under boys: First place
• The 10 and Under boys: First Place

Our appreciation goes to the coaches and officials for smooth organisation and officiating. Commendation to the swimmers, for supporting each other throughout the day and upholding sportsmanship.

Overall the gala was a great success, celebrating young swimming talent and community spirit. We look forward to bringing the same energy during upcoming regional and school-level meets.
