Key Stage 4 and 5 Production -'The Black Rose'

27th November 2021

The key stage 4 and 5 students put up a fantastic show this week. ‘The Black Rose’ production gave students an opportunity to showcase their talents and work as a team. This is what some of the students had to say:

‘‘Directing the play was an honour. I learnt a lot of skills such as teamwork and multi-tasking having worked alongside an amazing cast and crew.’’ Imani K. Year 12R (Student Director)

‘‘My time in the school production has greatly grown my public speaking skills. My confidence has exponentially improved and I have learnt a lot about the art of drama as well as just what it takes to put up a production. Along the way, I have made new friends and learnt the value of teamwork!!’’ Nicole N. Year 12R (Played as Lavender)

‘‘The play was a good experience and it was really fun. I became closer to a lot of friends and met new people. I would have never acted but now that I have, I don’t regret it. It was definitely worth it.’’ Ivy M. Year 12A (Played as Ameleena)

‘‘My time in the school production was a wonderful experience. I learnt a lot about acting and gained enough confidence.’’ Cosby O. Year 12A (Played as Obed)

Well done to the cast and the production team.
