Scouts Founder's Day

On Friday, 25th February 2022, Braeside scouts both Sungura and Chipukizi met in the school field to celebrate the founder of the scouts movement; Lord Baden Powell who was born on 22nd February 1857. His wife Olave Baden Powell was also born on 22nd February. The Girl Guides call it 'Thinking Day' in her honor.
Founder's Day is also known as Founderee Day and is celebrated by scouts all over the world. It is a fun day too for scouts to enjoy games, sharing a meal, campfires, competitions, entertainment e.t.c
