STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) WEEK

30th May 2022

What a successful week it was!

STEAM is a discipline that boosts innovation and creativity in children and has gained popularity in education systems all around the world. It teaches critical thinking skills and instills a passion for innovation. This year, our theme was I am a 21st Century Innovator.’

The week provided opportunities for children to develop knowledge, creativity, problem-solving and collaboration skills through different activities they engaged in.

From science experiments to mathematics activities, the children had fun exploring different tasks. The team building activities which included balancing games, water run relay, egg drop lander, paper roller coaster and cardboard games among others, kept the children fully engaged throughout the week.

The Planetarium in particular was every child’s favourite as it provided an exciting 3D visual simulation of space phenomena.

Our Young Engineers club partnered with us throughout the week. The club’s trained personnel guided the children in exploring engineering skills through Lego.

What a way to end the first half of the term!
