28th May 2021
Dear Parent/Guardian,
We have come to the end of the first half of third term. Having resumed physical learning, it has been very fulfilling to watch students come to life as they reconnected with their peers and teachers. We are grateful for the support the school community has given us to get this far. The students take a break and resume on 2nd of June 2021.
MFL Day
On Thursday, 27th May, we celebrated modern foreign languages day. The students celebrated by dressing up in the flag colors of these countries: Kenya, Tanzania, France and Germany to represent Swahili, French and German languages. The students also showcased food from the four countries. Unfortunately because of Covid-19, they could not share.
Mid Term Reports
After going through continuous assessment for this half of the term, the students’ reports will be published on the parents portal during this half term break. Please take some time to go through the report with your child and discuss how he/she can better their future results.
End of Year Examinations
As is our custom, we shall have the end of year examinations for the year 7, 8, 9, 10 and 12 classes. The dates and timetables will be shared in due time. We urge the students to start revising and preparing to avoid last minute anxiety.
Finally, as we enjoy this break, let us remember to keep ourselves and others safe by avoiding large gatherings and adhering to other Covid-19 protocols. This will ensure that we continue with physical learning.
Have a restful break.
Regards,
Ms. Esther Mokaya
