World Book Day

World Book day was established by UNESCO in 1995 to celebrate books and authors and encourage young people to discover the pleasure of reading. It is celebrated on 3rd March.
This year's theme was 'You are a reader' and Braestars were not left behind as they celebrated the day by dressing up as book characters. They also enjoyed a 'Booknic' where they packed a picnic basket that contained a blanket, books and a healthy picnic snack.
