Year 1, 2 & 3 Production

After rigorous rehearsal sessions from the beginning of this term, the Year 1, 2 & 3 children finally staged this year’s production titled ‘Maui Catches The Sun’ on Thursday, 21st November 2019 @ 1.30pm in the school theatre.
Synopsis
Maui and his brothers set out on their treacherous quest, and finally reach the pit from which the sun rises and begins its all-too-quick journey across the sky. With skill and daring, they snare the sun and Maui beats it with his magic whale jawbone, demanding that it travels more slowly.
From the decorative backdrops, beautiful costumes and melodious voices, the children treated the audience to a wonderful afternoon as they displayed their acting and singing skills.
We say a big thank you to the parents for turning up in large numbers to watch the show. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed putting it together.
We cannot also forget the teachers who have worked tirelessly with the children to ensure the show was a success. We look forward to the next show coming next year.
