Year 1 Newsletter - Week 5 Term 3

Dear Parent/Guardian,
This week, we continued to look at different aspects of stories, including comparing, contrasting and substituting characters. Our learning journey this week focused on:
- Number bonds
- Magnets
- Moving pictures
- Weather in dry areas
- Comparing and substituting story characters
During assembly, children were reminded about being proud of who they are and their achievements.
We also talked about our community carer project and urged ‘Braestars’ to earn some money by doing house chores. An email to this effect will be sent to you.
Next week we shall carry out Half Term assessments in Math and English. We look forward to the children’s good performance in these assessments.
