Year 1 Newsletter - Week 6 Term 3

This week, we carried out assessments of topics covered thus far. Most children were able to read and follow written instructions. We commend them for their independence and keenness as they carried out these activities.

The first half of the term has come to a fruitful end. We congratulate all our ‘Braestars’ for showing resilience and working hard in their day to day learning experiences. We continue to be grateful for all the support and feedback.

Reminders

• Information on the community carer project has been posted on Google classroom. A letter to that effect was sent home with the children on Wednesday this week. Kindly encourage children to carry out a variety of house chores. We look forward to receiving exciting feedback when we resume next week.
• The half term DT project has also been posted on Google classroom.
