Year 1 Week 12 Newsletter

28th November 2020

Dear Parent/Guardian,

This has been quite a busy week as the children took their first tests in Math and English. Majority of them were able to work independently and are commended for this. We are truly grateful for all the support you gave us to make the week a success.

Other areas of learning included;

  • Quarters
  • Nouns
  • Autumn
  • Town/country settings
  • Sleep
  • Christmas

Kindly ensure that your child attempts all tasks assigned in all curriculum areas.

We would also like to encourage you to read with your child every day as this promotes essential foundational literacy skills. It also helps in cultivating and fostering a love for reading. Be sure to get access to a variety of books that are appropriate for the children.
