Year 1 Week 2 Newsletter:Term 2

Dear Parent/Guardian,

This has been a very exciting week as children reported back to school on Tuesday. They were very happy to see each other, explore different areas in the school and especially the play areas. We celebrate the confidence displayed in the morning as they walk to their classes independently as well as their effort and ability to observe safety protocols laid down by the school.

We are truly thankful for your support in preparing your child for the physical re opening of school.

Kindly take note of the following;

• Children should wear PE kit from home on Games and Dance/adventure days.
• A copy of the revised class timetable has been posted on Google classroom.
• Reading books and weekend homework will be posted on Google classroom.
• Spelling lists will be posted on Google classroom every Friday. Please read the information regarding this on Google classroom.
• If you haven’t already done so, please avail coloured pencils and play dough for your child to use in school.
