Year 1 Week 4 Newsletter:Term 2

Dear Parent/Guardian,
We have had another successful week of learning and exploring new things. Children are happy to combine both indoor and outdoor learning experiences. In the different areas of learning we looked at:
- Length and height
- Handa’s hen
- Life cycle of a plant
- Collage
- Old and new houses
Reading books continue to be posted twice a week on Google classroom.
Weekend homework and spelling lists have also been posted on Google classroom.
The children receive a spelling list every Friday to learn and practice throughout the week. Kindly ensure that your child learns the spellings and writes them on their home book.
To note:
Children should come dressed in their PE kit every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Be sure to pack a sunhat and a refillable water bottle for your child to use each day.
