Year 1 Week 6 Newsletter:Term 2

Dear Parent/Guardian,
The first half of the term has come to an end. We are very excited to celebrate the successful learning journey our children have had this far. They swiftly adjusted to attending school physically and are commended for embracing our daily routines with ease.
This week we carried out assessments in Math and English and also reviewed content covered in all subject areas.
We take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and feedback given this first half of the term. We look forward to a great second half when school resumes.

- Half term dates 15th – 19th Feb 2021
- School resumes on Monday, 22nd Feb 2021
Half Term Project
- Design and make a house using recyclable materials.
- Bring it to school for a presentation (show and tell) on Monday, 22nd February 2021 when school reopens.
- Regular reading is very important; continue reading home books and talk about the main characters and what is happening in the story.
