Year 1 Week 9 Newsletter:Term 2

6th March 2021

Dear Parent/Guardian,

This week has seen the children learn many new exciting things. The highlight was celebrating ‘World Book Day' on Thursday. Children were thrilled to wear their pyjamas and to bring their story books to school. We got to read and share stories in class and outside class. In the afternoon we had a special treat watching a movie at the theatre.

Other curriculum areas covered included:

  • Telling time by the hour
  • Introduction to basic maps
  • ‘igh’ family phonics
  • Winter

Kindly find the weekend homework and spelling lists on Google classroom.
