Year 2 Newsletter - Week 5 Term 3

Dear Parent/Guardian,

It is unbelievable that we are already into Week 5 of Term 3! The children have had a busy week and have covered so much. Thank you for your support this far.

Science Week 2020/2021

Science Week is finally here! This will take place from Monday, 24th May 2021 to Thursday, 27th May 2021. The theme for the week will be ‘Innovation for the future’. During the science lessons, the children will explore great technologies which might change the future of boats. For instance, wave powered boats, self-driving boats and electric boats. They will construct boats and carry out floating and sinking experiments. As such, we kindly request you to allow your child to bring the following items to school on Monday:

  • A big bowl that can hold water
  • Foil paper
  • Weights ( a set of marbles, coins, pasta, beans and lego blocks-all the same size)
