Year 2 Newsletter Week 7

16th October 2021

The first half of this term came to a successful close on 15/10/2021. Several activities were lined up this week and the children were excited to participate in all of them. They wrote a set of instructions during the English lessons and practised halving of numbers in Maths. In Science, children discussed the importance of the five senses of living things and reviewed the seaside features in Geography.

As part of their experiential learning, the children visited StedMak’s Gardens to observe mammals, birds, reptiles and fish in their habitats. They ended the week on a cheerful note after participating in the KS1 Annual Sports’ Day on Friday, 15/10/2021.

We appreciate all the support parents have accorded the children during this first half of the term.
