Year 2 Week 10 Newsletter:Term 2

Dear Parent/Guardian,

It has truly been a fun and exciting week as we marked our Humanities week.

Some of the activities the children engaged in were as follows:

• Discussions and presentations of what makes the earth smile.
• Designing posters and displaying them in the year group block.
• Research task based on the theme ‘Clean up your act’.
• Cleaning the field during the year group assembly.

Test Timetable

Next week, the children will sit for their end term tests. As such, we have uploaded some work to aid them in preparation for the tests. Please encourage your child to be confident when doing the tests. These are done in a calm atmosphere and children have ample time to complete them. Below find the test timetable.

World Down Syndrome Day (WDSD)

We will observe this Year's World Down Syndrome Day on Friday, 19th March 2021 instead of 21st which happens to be a Sunday. On that day, we will sensitize students about the need to "Accommodate Difference". The theme of the day will be Celebrating Diversity. Kindly note that the students will put on Mismatched/ Odd-coloured Socks on Friday 19th, March 2021.
