5th December 2020
Dear Parent/Guardian,
The end of term draws near, ushering in a time of well deserved rest.
We encourage the children to ‘hang in there’ as we continue on our learning journey.
Did you know that you could make a rain cloud in a jar? Well, the children did exactly that by conducting a simple fun experiment. Doing experiments helps develop a child's resourcefulness and also nurtures intellectual curiosity, helping children acquire new ways of asking questions and understanding the world.
Have a look at their work below;
We shall use the lessons in the coming week to recap some areas already covered this term.
Mathematics | English | Science | History |
---|---|---|---|
Recap: Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division. | Recap: Identifying Nouns, Adjectives and Noun Phrases. | Recap: Living and Non Living Things. | Consolidation: Queen Victoria’s Life on a Timeline. |
Quote of the week
“Someone is sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago.” -Warren Buffet, American business magnate, investor and philanthropist.
We wish you a pleasant weekend.
