Year 2 Week 3 Newsletter:Term 2

Dear Parent/Guardian,
Year 2 have had another exiting week of learning.
In English, the children concluded their learning about recount texts. They planned and wrote their own recounts of how they spent their holiday.
In science, the children learnt about materials and their properties. They looked at different toys, identified the materials they were made from, and explained why they were suitable for a particular age group.
This term’s target is #Planet’s partner. Kindly partner with us to ensure that your child attains this target.
Teachers' request
Do you have any Maasai artifacts, books about Maasai or Kenya, traditional Maasai regalia? We would be most obliged if you could let your child carry one of those to school for a sort of ‘show and tell’ session during our humanities lesson.
