Year 2 Week 8 Newsletter:Term 2

27th February 2021

Dear Parent/Guardian,

Welcome to the second half of the term. This week, the children have really enjoyed reading and comparing story books by the same author. We would like to encourage you to buy books for your child by significant children authors both local and international. Children reading these books will lead to lots of conversation about language, plot and character, and this will help them greatly as they move on to Key Stage 2.

Reading

This second half of the term, your child is expected to read two books every week. One book is for Monday and Tuesday and the other book is for Wednesday and Thursday. Both books and the reading log should be returned on Friday. Please ensure that you write a comment and sign the reading log after listening to your child reading the books. Kindly note that the next set of books will only be issued if the reading log is signed and the books returned.
