22nd May 2021
Dear Parent/Guardian,
It is Week 5 and the children have quickly settled into physical school environment. They are comfortable applying different approaches in their learning as stated within the health and safety guidelines. It has been exciting as we welcomed all the children back to school. Their progress is encouraging as they prepare to sit their end of term tests immediately after the half term break.
Important Announcements
Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT4)
The Year 3 children will be sitting the fourth edition of Cognitive Abilities Test (CAT4) on Monday, 24th May 2021 from 8:20am to 10:20am. CAT4 is a series of tests that assess a student's reasoning (thinking) abilities in key areas that support educational development and academic attainment. We therefore appeal for your support in preparing your child for this test by providing a well charged laptop for use on that day.
Projects
Marking of the projects is ongoing for the Humanities subjects. A few of the children that have not submitted the work as guided by their teachers are thus reminded to honour the timelines given by sending in their work.
Science Week
This will run next week from 24th to 27th May 2021. The Year 3s will be exploring ways in which space travel might change in the future.
