Year 3 Newsletter - Week 7 Term 3

We are glad to have the children back after a well-deserved break from the regular learning activities. Learning continued this week as the children prepare for the end of term assessments that will be written next week.

Yesterday, Year 3 Braestars received a letter and a job card that comprehensively explains their participation in the project. They are keen on putting a smile on the Ancillary Staff members’ faces and starting this weekend, the children are now ready to complete chores at home. This will see them collect money which will in turn be used to purchase specific gifts that will be shared with their chosen group of special workers in the Braeside School community.

Kindly support your child by assigning him/her age appropriate chores at home.

End of Term Tests

These are scheduled to begin next week on Friday, 11th June and end on Wednesday, 16th June 2021. The children received a copy of the test timetable before proceeding for the half term break. A copy of the same is shared in your child’s Google Classroom.

Projects

We commend all the children who have been able to submit their projects within the given timelines. Kindly note that 50% of the test score will be derived from the Science, Geography and History projects. In case your child has not submitted their work, please encourage him/her to complete it.
