Year 3 Week 11 Newsletter

Dear Parent/Guardian,

In addition to working smart to complete the objectives set out for them this week, the Year 3s shared their knowledge of Swahili culture using videos, pictures and even write-ups to celebrate Kiswahili Day on Thursday.

We are also grateful that you made time on Monday or Tuesday evening to discuss your child’s settling-in report.

Test Timetable

The end of term tests begin on Monday, 23rd November 2020 and will end on Thursday, 26th November 2020. The children will receive more instructions as they sit the tests which will be administered virtually.

Below please find a copy of the tests timetable which has also been shared with the children.

Monday, 23rd November 2020 English Grammar, Punctuation and Spelling: 8:30 am-9:30 am Mathematics (Arithmetic): 11:00 am- 12:00 noon
Tuesday, 24th November 2020 English Writing: 8:30 am-9:30 am Humanities: 9:45 am-10:45 am
Wednesday, 25th November 2020 English Reading: 9:45 am-10:45 am Science:11:00 am-12:00 noon
Thursday, 26th November 2020 Mathematics (Reasoning): 8:30 am-9:30 am

Test Tips

To prepare for the tests, we encourage the children to:

  • Get enough rest by sleeping early every day.
  • Eat healthy meals.
  • Take breaks to play or exercise.
  • Request someone to ask them questions.
