Year 3 Week 6 Newsletter:Term 2

Dear Parent/Guardian,

The children proceed to a well-earned half term break. They have put in superb effort to meet the expectations of the curriculum.

School will resume for the second half of the term on Monday, 22nd February 2021.

We are grateful to all our parents for the support you have given us during all events.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Safety and Health News

All Braestars treasure birthday celebrations because it is a time to acknowledge each other's achievements and welcome one another to a new year with song, treats and trinkets. However, in line with the Health and Safety measures that have been set in the school to control the spread of COVID-19, we wish to bring to your notice that we have extended the motto ‘Not Sharing is Caring’ to include even birthday celebrations. As such, the children are reminded not to share cakes, sweets or drinks to celebrate birthdays until otherwise advised. We shall continue to make special mention of each child’s birthday in the newsletter as well as use other creative ways to mark the special days for our Braestars in the classrooms.

Homework

The children have received homework packs for the half term. Additional tasks may be posted in their respective Google Classroom accounts. Kindly remind your child to complete a task each day.

End of Term Tests

The children will sit for their tests from 15th to 19th March 2021.

Happy Birthday

This week, we celebrated with Jeremy O., Kyla M. and Abigail A. as each one of them turned 8. We wish them all a fantastic 8th year of good health and success in all they do. Happy birthday Braestars!
