Year 4 Week 4 Newsletter:Term 2

30th January 2021

Dear Parent/Guardian,

This week we continued with our exploration of organisms living in various habitats around the school. The children were very excited to have their lessons outside the classroom. They were also amazed to discover that their bodies could be a habitat for living organisms.

Next week will be a very busy one. We will be having the Mathletics week. This year's theme is EcoMaths as we explore maths and sustainability in line with our term target, #planet'spartners

The Children’s mental Health week will also be taking place next week from 1st - 7th February. This year’s theme is Express Yourself.

Expressing yourself is about finding ways to share feelings, thoughts, or ideas through creativity. This could be through art, music, writing and poetry, dance and drama, photography and film, and doing activities that make you feel good. Throughout the week, we will be encouraging children to explore the different ways they can express themselves, and the creative ways that they can share their feelings, thoughts and ideas. These two events will run side by side.

The deadline for the Humanities project is fast approaching. The children are encouraged to use their weekend to put the finishing touches on their work. For more details, refer to the child’s planner.

Wishing you a great weekend,
