Year 4 Week 5 Newsletter:Term 2

Dear Parent/Guardian,

The children have been engaged in a lot of fun activities during their Math lessons this week. Here are some views from the Braestars of how the week has been.

The week was fun. I liked it when we went outside and measured the plants and when I was picked for the inter house quiz. I was scared at first but I became brave. Giana N.

I am more interested in Maths. Hawi O.

I think Maths is turning out to be my best subject. Mali M.

I got to do fun activities in nature. Olivia A.

I discovered Maths in nature, a new student Sara came to our class. Neema K.

To go to nature and draw lines of symmetry on leaves and rocks was fun. I made it all the way to 21 in the fibonacci sequence. Sahal M.

Ecomaths week was fun-we got to walk around the school and it showed me how maths is nature. Leroy O.

It was a blast! Having to go outside yet learn something!. Stephen W.

We got to compete with other teams, it was fun…. Rebecca M.

It has been interesting because we got to do Maths that involve nature. Alma C.

Maths has been fun for the past few days.I hope it will keep going that way. Nicole K.

My week was amazing. I got to learn some cool things like fibonacci spirals. Riley C.

I used a wiggly ruler to measure distances between plants. Leo N.
