Year 6 Cultural Day

7th March 2022

During the first half of this term, Year 6 students have been learning about ancient/modern Nairobi and cultural diversity in Nairobi. They learnt about the buildings and roads giving their old and new names. The learners researched about their various communities and made presentations in class. They also learnt words and phrases from their ethnic communities.

To culminate this topic, we held a Cultural Day on Friday, 4th March 2022 where we dressed up in cultural attire and displayed different foods and artefacts from various cultures. This was a very successful day as we all learnt and appreciated our cultural diversity in Nairobi.
